FullTilt Poker, Fertitta Interactive strike online poker deal

Story: Online gaming giant FullTilt Poker and Fertitta Interactive, which is co-owned by the family that founded Station Casinos, have struck a partnership to operate an Internet poker website if the activity gains federal approval.

The agreement covers only potential federal legislation for Internet poker, said Tom Breitling, who co-owns Fertitta Interactive with brothers Frank Fertitta III and Lorenzo Fertitta and his longtime business partner Tim Poster.

In an email, Breitling said the partnership only backs federal legislation, not Assembly Bill 258, which is currently being debated in the Nevada Legislature and authorizes the state to legalize Internet poker.

Take That and Britney Spears make headlines again

Britney gets fit

A short while ago the only phrase that I could have associated with Britney Spears was definitely Bingo Loopy, but right now the singer famous for songs such as Womaniser and Oops, I Did It Again has turned it all around and is on a giant health kick.

Only last week we told how Gary Barlow and Robbie Williams from Take That are competing with each other to lose the pounds before the Take That Progress Tour starts and now Britney is doing the same in preparation for the release of her new album Femme Fatale and hew own US tour dates.

She is taking it all very seriously and booze is a no-no not just for her, but her employees too and no-one can eat junk food around her either.

Kentucky Derby – The Major Preps Start Today!

The Kentucky Derby race to the post begins today. There’s a big field of horses trying to qualify for the Run for the Roses. It’s a matter of money… that is, the top money earners of this year’s crop of three-year-olds will get into the big race on the first Saturday in May (May 7th).
